The Caves of Peninsular and Southern Thailand covers the provinces of Chumphon, Krabi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Narathiwat, Phang Nga, Phattalung, Phetchaburi, Phuket, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Ranong, Ratchaburi, Satun, Songkhla, Surat Thani, Trang and Yala. Over 1,950 caves, rock shelters, stream sinks, resurgences and other sites of speleological interest are fully detailed, supported by 226 surveys and a bibliography with over 760 references. There is also an outline of the caving history of the region.
