Walter loves to write, and he is just about your students' age. He is growing up in the the distant mountains of St. Gallen, Switzerland as war rages around him. Join him as he learns to balance a milk pail, finds a way to ski uphill, and dips a braid in ink. Walter's antics will both educate and entertain. Your students' will analyze the story for the author's use of a variety of literary elements and learn to use them in their own writing.
